Hey, folks!
All the way back in December 2020, I was tagged by the lovely Anita from 100 Country Trek to participate in the “Travel Challenge,” in which one posts one photo every day for 10 days, sans caption, to have bloggers guess where it was taken. However, I did not do that, and I ended up taking the Travel Challenge throughout 2021, ending with my final photo just this past December. A whole, entire year, and it has finally come to an end…
I had a lot of fun doing this Travel Challenge: not only did I get to post some of my favorite photos I’ve taken on my travels, but I also loved seeing your guesses. Some were spot-on, others not so much. Either way, I greatly value all who participated, and with that, I am officially revealing the answers to the photos I posted in the Travel Challenge.
Thanks once again to Anita for tagging me to do this challenge in the first place! 🙂
Day 1: Inside the Palais Garnier in Paris, France

Day 2: Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto, Japan

Day 3: Keys View at Joshua Tree National Park, California, USA (no one guessed this exactly, but a few came close and guessed California!)

Day 4: El Arco at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (again, no one got it exactly, but a few of you correctly guessed Mexico!)

Day 5: Kravica Waterfall in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Day 6: View of Ljubljana, Slovenia from the Nebotičnik’s Top Floor Terrace

Day 7: Multnomah Falls, Oregon, USA

Day 8: Ushguli, Georgia

Day 9: Guilin, China
Day 10: Fez, Morocco

Thanks again for those who participated in the Travel Challenge. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

Multnomah Falls, Oregon, USA has always been on my bucket list. I missed your original post about it, but it looks so unreal, I want to go.
Also, Fez looks incredible. I see it in tv shows and movies, and your picture showcasing all of the colours just reminds me they don’t fake that for the shows and movies, that it might just be that bright and colourful and wonderful. I love that.

I hope you can come down and experience Multnomah Falls; in general, the Pacific Northwest is a wonder! Fez (and Morocco, overall) is such a vibrant city, and you can really lose track of time just wandering the medinas. 😊

Great series! I know the temple in Kyoto well, and the Moroccan narrow streets with carpets hanging. Thank you!

Thanks, I appreciate the kind comment. Japan and Morocco are truly beautiful places on opposite corners of the Earth!

Such a wonderful collection of beautiful travel photos Rebecca. If I remember correctly, I only managed to get half of them right 🥰

That’s really good! Half right is a passing score in some schools in the world (France included). 😉

looks beautiful – but very tiring going to all those places in such a short period of time haha!

These trips were over a span of a decade-plus, so while it was a lot, it was manageable!
