Another nature-filled day was ahead of us after some time spent in the Columbia River Gorge the day before. This time, we would head over to Mount Hood, the tallest one in Oregon. It would be a short day exploring it and the surrounding areas, as means of recuperating from two full days of jam-packed adventure during our time in the Pacific Northwest.
Following our one-night stay in Portland, my family and I packed our bags and headed off for our next destination during our road trip in the Pacific Northwest this past summer. This time, we would be trading the concrete jungle with natural scenery, as we made our way to the Columbia River Gorge for a series of lush, deep valleys and waterfalls to take pleasure in.

After over two months of putting it off, I am *finally* getting around to my recent trip this summer. Back in June, my family and I did a road trip to the states of Oregon and Washington. Aside from visiting the popular cities like Portland and Seattle, we also sprinkled some day trips to a few national parks, which were absolutely beautiful, to say the least.
